As a Projects, Fundraising & Partnerships Volunteer, you help turn ideas into clear projects, relevant funding applications, and well-prepared collaborations. You may work within one of these areas or across a combination, depending on your experience and interests.
Practical Information
- Location: Online.
- Format: The role can be carried out fully online. Any in-person meetings with partners are agreed separately and are not a general requirement.
- Language: You can contribute in Danish or English. Danish is an advantage and may be needed for tasks involving Danish foundations or partners. Tasks are matched to your language skills.
- Time: Typically 2–4 hours per week. The time commitment may vary during periods involving funding applications, project development, or partner outreach. Tasks and time commitment are agreed based on your interests, skills, and availability.
- Start: By agreement. Applications are considered on an ongoing basis.
What you will be part of
Strong projects need clear goals, realistic plans, and the right collaborators. As a volunteer, you help Onivers explore opportunities, structure ideas, and prepare material that may support funding or partnerships.
Your contribution may help turn an early idea into a well-developed project description, a credible application, or a well-prepared conversation with a potential partner.
Your tasks may include
- Researching relevant foundations, funding programmes, and financing opportunities
- Gathering requirements, deadlines, and background information for funding applications
- Helping with project descriptions, application copy, and supporting material
- Mapping organisations, professionals, venues, or other potential partners
- Researching where the purpose of Onivers and a potential partner’s interests align
- Preparing short presentations, proposals, and background material
- Supporting draft outreach and practical follow-up with partners
- Contributing to project plans, timelines, documentation, and simple evaluation
- Developing ideas for projects that fit the purpose and development of Onivers
You do not need experience in projects, fundraising, and partnerships at the same time. We agree on a defined area where your skills can add the most value.
The role may suit you if you
- Are strong in research, writing, or professional relationship-building
- Can organise a large amount of information and notice important details
- Are comfortable working towards a clear deadline or deliverable
- Can write clearly and adapt material to different audiences
- Are curious about how associations, foundations, and partnerships work
- Work responsibly and follow up on the agreements you make
Experience in project development, fundraising, partnerships, or grant applications is an advantage. Relevant experience may also come from your studies, public-sector work, association work, or private-sector roles.
What Onivers provides
You receive a clear task description, relevant background material, and a contact person who sets direction and reviews external-facing material with you. We agree in advance which decisions and communications you may prepare and what requires approval from Onivers.
You have the opportunity to work on concrete development tasks and help create a stronger foundation for future Onivers activities and collaborations.
Role boundaries
You do not enter into agreements or make commitments on behalf of Onivers without explicit approval. The role does not include independent responsibility for finance, legal matters, budget approval, or the strategic direction of the organisation.
The role is distinct from ongoing communications work and internal operations. Its focus is defined projects, funding opportunities, and external collaborations.
