Teaching & Facilitation Volunteer

Would you like to share a practice or area of expertise and help create well-designed activities for participants in Copenhagen?

As a Teaching & Facilitation Volunteer, you contribute to workshops, classes, introductions, or guided practices within mindfulness, meditation, yoga, breathwork, or psychoeducation. Your responsibilities depend on your training, experience, and the specific activity.

Practical Information

  • Location: Copenhagen.
  • Format: This is an in-person role and cannot be carried out online.
  • Language: You can teach or facilitate in Danish or English. Being able to work in both languages is an advantage, but it is not required.
  • Time: Typically a few hours per activity, including preparation, delivery, and brief follow-up. Tasks and time commitment are agreed based on your skills, the specific activity, and your availability.
  • Start: By agreement. Applications are considered on an ongoing basis.

What you will be part of

Onivers creates activities where people can learn, practise, and meet within clear and inclusive settings. As a volunteer, you help connect professional knowledge and practical experience with participants’ everyday lives.

Your teaching or facilitation should be accessible, responsible, and suited to the specific audience. This concerns both the content you share and the way you create a clear structure and build good contact with participants.

Your tasks may include

  • Developing a clear purpose and plan for the agreed activity
  • Preparing exercises, learning material, or guided practices
  • Teaching, facilitating, or contributing as a co-facilitator
  • Explaining the content and boundaries of the activity in a simple and respectful way
  • Adapting communication to participants’ level without working beyond your competence
  • Collaborating with Onivers on the audience, format, and practical needs
  • Following shared guidelines for safety, responsible communication, and participant contact
  • Gathering simple feedback and contributing to brief follow-up after the activity

Relevant training, education, or substantial experience is required. Independent teaching or facilitation is agreed only when your background fits the specific activity.

The role may suit you if you

  • Have relevant experience in the area you wish to teach or facilitate
  • Can communicate clearly and create structure for a group
  • Meet participants in a respectful and inclusive way
  • Understand your professional boundaries and can explain what the activity does not provide
  • Are open to collaboration, feedback, and shared planning
  • Take responsibility for preparation and the agreements you make

We do not assess every field using the same template. What matters is that your experience is relevant and your approach fits the purpose and responsible framework of Onivers.

What Onivers provides

You receive an introduction to Onivers, a clear agreement about the purpose of the activity, and guidance on format, audience, and communication. You have a contact person and receive the practical information you need before the activity.

You become part of a professional and human community where quality, accessibility, and respect for different participants are central values.

Role boundaries

The role does not include therapy, treatment, diagnosis, individual advice about mental health conditions, or crisis support. You must not promise specific health outcomes or work beyond your own competence and the agreed framework.

Changes to the activity’s central content, safety framework, or public description must be agreed with Onivers.
