As a Volunteer Specialist Adviser, you contribute specialist knowledge to defined assignments or projects. Your background may be in research, psychology, public health, education, evaluation, law, data protection, accessibility, or organisational development.
The role is shaped around your field of expertise. You may contribute a single review, ongoing advisory input, or a more substantial project.
Practical Information
- Location: Online.
- Format: The role can be carried out fully online. Any in-person meetings are agreed separately and are not a general requirement.
- Language: You can contribute in Danish or English. The most relevant language depends on the task. Being able to work in both languages is an advantage, but it is not required.
- Time: The time commitment is agreed for each assignment or project. Some contributions may involve a focused professional review, while others may extend over a longer period. Tasks and time commitment are agreed based on your professional expertise, interests, and availability.
- Start: By agreement. Applications are considered on an ongoing basis.
What you will be part of

As a specialist volunteer, you help Onivers make better-informed choices. Your contribution may strengthen the quality of public content, improve the design of an activity, clarify a policy, or create a stronger basis for a strategic decision.
Your tasks may include
- Reviewing research, professional sources, or existing material
- Preparing short and understandable summaries of relevant knowledge
- Reviewing public content for accuracy, balance, and clear limitations
- Advising on the development of activities, learning pathways, or professional standards
- Contributing to policies, quality processes, evaluation, or documentation
- Assessing proposals, concepts, or materials within your field
- Providing strategic input on a clearly defined question
- Identifying gaps, risks, or questions that require further investigation
- Helping translate complex knowledge into practical and responsible solutions
The role is advisory. You are not expected to take over day-to-day operations or hold responsibility beyond your defined professional contribution.

Role boundaries
The role is advisory, and Onivers retains final responsibility for decisions and publication. The role does not include responsibility for treatment, public authority functions, legal representation, or independent approval on behalf of Onivers.
Professional content and recommendations must not be presented as the official position of Onivers until they have been reviewed and approved. Work involving regulated professional responsibility requires a separate and explicit agreement.
